Interior Versatility and Comfort
The cabin of the 2026 Odyssey is designed to function as a mobile command center. It accommodates up to 8 passengers with standard leather-trimmed seating across all trim levels. A standout feature for local parents is the Magic Slide® 2nd-row seats, which allow for easy access to the third row and can be moved closer to the front row for easier reach to small children.
The technology suite has seen significant updates, now featuring a standard 9-inch color touchscreen paired with a 7-inch digital instrument cluster. Connectivity is seamless with wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ integration, while a wireless phone charger helps keep the cabin clutter-free. For those longer drives across the state, the available Advanced Rear Entertainment System includes a 12.8-inch high-resolution screen, ensuring passengers in the back remain engaged. Features like CabinWatch® and CabinTalk® allow the driver to monitor and communicate with rear passengers without having to turn around or shout.
Exterior Design
The exterior of the 2026 Odyssey reflects a modern, aerodynamic aesthetic. It features a refreshed front fascia with a bold grille and full LED headlights that provide crisp illumination during foggy Wisconsin mornings. The "lightning bolt" beltline remains a signature design element, cleverly hiding the sliding door tracks. Depending on the trim, the vehicle sits on 18-inch or 19-inch alloy wheels, with the Sport-L trim offering distinct gloss-black accents for a more aggressive look. For added convenience when loading groceries or sports gear, a hands-free access power tailgate is available on higher configurations.
Performance and Handling
Under the hood, the Odyssey is powered by a proven 3.5-liter V6 engine that produces 280 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque. This powertrain is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission featuring paddle shifters, providing smooth and responsive acceleration whether merging onto the highway or navigating city streets. To assist with Central Wisconsin winters, the Intelligent Traction Management system includes a Snow Mode, which recalibrates the traction control to help maintain stability on slippery surfaces. The vehicle also maintains a towing capacity of up to 3,500 pounds, making it capable of hauling a small trailer or boat for weekend outings.
Safety and Driver Assistance
Safety remains a cornerstone of the Odyssey design. Every 2026 model comes standard with the Honda Sensing® suite, a collection of driver-assistive technologies including:
- Collision Mitigation Braking System™ (CMBS™): Helps bring the vehicle to a stop when a frontal collision is determined unavoidable.
- Road Departure Mitigation System (RDM): Can provide steering assistance if you cross over detected lanes without signaling.
- Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with Low-Speed Follow: Maintains a set following interval behind detected vehicles.
- Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS): Adjusts steering to help keep the vehicle centered in a detected lane.
